The Danish Architecture Centre have developed a specific lesson plan for this map, which applies to danish curricular standards. This concept is made available to schools through their education programme.
The general idea in the concept, is for students to build solutions to the problems that citizens in the neighbourhoods are experiencing. In this process students must reflect on community and how our public spaces facilitate this. These problems are very real and are derived from the lives of many danish citizens. The fact that approximately 20% of the danish populace live in public social housing, makes these issues very authentic for many students.
Apart from this scenario, the map is an arena for a wide range of activities - as suggested in the video, "Learning Scenarios" below.
